The 6ft 4inch giant has signed for an undisclosed fee from Scottish club Motherwell and has signed a three-year-deal with the club.
Ben Heneghan has only played on for the first team of two other clubs in his career those being non-league Chester and Scottish Premier League club Motherwell. He joined Chester in 2014 from Stoke Citys’ youth academy where he made 81 appearances in two years. He picked ups six goals for Chester in that time.
He then joined Motherwell in June 2016 where he made 41 appearances and scored one goal which came against Rangers. The 23-year-old now obviously joined Championship club Sheffield United and will be looking for a great start to life at Bramall Lane.
