Deeney wanted by the Swans

Swansea have reportedly bidded in excess of £5 million for current Watford striker Troy Deeney.

The bid rejected according to SkySports was believed to be somewhere within the region of £5 million. After being rejected by Watford, some sources report that manager Gary Monk could be prepared to come back for the striker  and bring him in for £6 million with Wilfried Bony potentially on his way.

Swansea add now to a long list of teams who have chased the Watford striker including Burnley as well which we reported earlier on the72.co.uk , Deeney is very much a wanted man and his future remains very open at this point.
