Norwich City chasing Leeds United star

Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas has emerged as a possible transfer target for Championship rivals Norwich City, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Northern Ireland international has a small amount of doubt around his future, as he has now entered the final year of his contract at Elland Road. However, Dallas is considered to be a key member of the first-team squad and remains in the plans of new manager Thomas Christiensen.

This situation could lead to Leeds asking for a large sum of money for the winger, although the amount the Canaries are willing to spend has not been confirmed.

New Norwich City manager Daniel Farke, who has worked for Borussia Dortmund, appears to be continuing his revamp at Carrow Road, as he has already brought over 12 new faces in. Therefore, it is clear to see that signing Stuart Dallas would be a real statement of intent for Farke’s first season in English football.

However, the transfer window is quickly drawing to a close so a deal must be sorted very soon if Norwich’s interest in the 26-year-old is serious.

Dallas signed for Leeds United from Brentford for an undisclosed fee two years ago, when he signed a three-year-deal. Uwe Rosler was the manager at Elland Road at the time. In his final season at Brentford, Dallas scored 8 goals from midfield.

Since joining the Whites, the 26-year-old has netted 9 goals in 89 games across all competitions.

Stuart Dallas has been a substitute for all 4 Sky Bet Championship games so far this campaign.
