Chris Wood released a statement on his Twitter earlier. He explained why he wasn’t in Thomas Christiansen’s squad for their match against Sunderland, and he basically confirmed that he’s leaving the club.
Wood has been linked with a move to Burnley for some time now, and last night the Mirror revealed that Burnley’s £15 million bid had been accepted. He was reported to have been having a medical at Burnley today. Chris Wood released this statement earlier:
