Bristol City sign out of favour Fulham forward on loan

Bristol City have completed the signing of forward Cauley Woodrow on a season-long loan deal from Sky Bet Championship rivals Fulham according to Get West London.

The 22-year-old Hemel Hempstead born frontman has made just one appearance for Fulham this season in a Carabao Cup tie with Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park and the player has not been selected to feature for the club in the league.

It has now been reported that The Whites’ Sky Bet Championship rivals Bristol City have agreed to take Woodrow on a season-long loan deal. At this stage, it is not known whether The Robins have the option to make the deal permanent should Woodrow go on to be a success at Ashton Gate.

The player started his career with Luton Town and made just three senior appearances for The Hatters before joining Fulham for a reported six-figure transfer fee. Woodrow has gone on to make 66 appearances for the West Londoners and has scored 12 goals.

The striker fell out of favour at Craven Cottage last season and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Burton Albion where he averaged just over one goal every three matches. Woodrow has also spent time on loan at Southend United earlier in his career.
