Thankfully for all football fans, the season is well underway, with many of the Football League sides having played three games already, with two league games and the first round of the Carabao Cup being completed.
It is vital for clubs to get off to a good start, to gain momentum to help them push through the duration of a long, gruelling season, and few have started as well as Nottingham Forest.
‘The Reds’ have a perfect start, beating newly promoted Millwall on the opening week of fixtures 1-0, beating League One side Shrewsbury Town 2-1 in the Carabao Cup, and taking all three points away at Griffin Park on Saturday in a 4-3 thriller.
Manager Mark Warburton has a very healthy squad, and will have selection headaches all over the pitch, but this is how I believe Forest could line up on Tuesday to face Barnsley away, in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
