Sordell joins the Clarets

Marvin Sordell has joined newly promoted Burnley from Bolton Wanderers on a three-year deal.

The striker has signed for an undisclosed fee and adds attacking options to the Clarets front line. After scoring 7 goals in 31 league games for Charlton this season, he joins Burnley in reasonably good form and will benefit from being around the likes of Danny Ings and Sam Vokes for the upcoming season.

Dyche knows Sordell from his time as the Watford manager. In the time which Dyche was manager he scored 10 goals in 29 games and in the previous season he managed 15 goals in 47 games in all competitions for the London club.

The 23 year old now adds pace and firepower to the Claret’s line up.
