Notts County keeper Bartosz Bialkowski is reportedly interesting Ipswich Town the Nottingham Post reports.
With Ipswich looking to strengthen for the coming season and with the competitive budget that they have, signing the League 1 shot stopper from Notts County may be a cheap option to fill the boots of Scott Loach who departed to South Yorkshire from the East Anglian club to play for Rotherham United. McCarthy apparently was looking at Tranmere’s Owain Fon-Williams according to this report from Sky Sports however with the deal looking unlikely with Fon-Williams looking likely to head elsewhere he has turned his attention to Bialkowski.
Journalist Leigh Curtis tweeted this earlier:
Understand Bialkowski deal could be completed today.

With a deal for Bialkowski looking to be in place, Notts County could look set to do more business this window and bring in more players and it may also solve goalkeeping issues for Ipswich. This could be a very good deal for both parties although Bialkowski was vital in securing County’s League 1 status last season.
