Leeds United attacking midfielder backed to hit the goal trail

Leeds United attacking midfielder Kemar Roofe is being backed to net double figures for The Whites this season according to the latest odds offered by English Football League sponsors Sky Bet.

The 24-year-old Walsall born attacking ace joined Leeds United from Sky Bet League One outfit Oxford United on a four-year deal last summer and the player has settled in well at Elland Road.

Roofe made 49 appearances in all competitions for the West Yorkshire club last season while he netted three goals for his new club.

With Roofe having now become more familiar with his Elland Road surroundings, the player is expected to increase his goal return this term and English Football League sponsors Sky Bet have the attacking midfielder listed at 5/6 to score 10 or more goals this season.

The player started his career at West Bromwich Albion and after loan spells with Vikingur Reykjavik, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Colchester United, Roofe made his name during his time with Oxford United.

Roofe bagged six goals in 16 outings for United during a loan spell in the 2014/2015 campaign before netting 26 goals the following season after joining the club on a permanent basis. That goalscoring return is yet to be replicated for Leeds United but the player is clearly a huge talent.
