Sky Bet Championship promotion hopefuls Fulham are thought to be weighing up a move for German midfielder Keanu Staude according to Get West London.
The 20-year-old Bielefeld born midfielder currently plays for hometown club Arminia Bielefeld and the player has burst onto the scene at Bielefelder Alm.
It has been reported that Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic is an admirer of the youngster and could opt to submit a transfer offer for the player’s services. Staude is highly rated by his club and it is thought that should The Whites wish to sign the midfielder, they would need to submit a significant transfer bid.
Staude is a product of the Arminia Bielefeld academy system with the player having joined the club at just eight years of age. After making his senior debut for The Blues in a goalless draw with Karlsruhe early last season, the youngster has gone on to make 24 appearances for the club and has scored two goals.
The youngster’s impressive performances in the 2.Bundesliga for Arminia Bielefeld has seen Staude handed his international debut for the German Under-20 side and should the player continue to blossom into a quality midfielder there is a real chance that there could be a full international call-up on the horizon.
Staude could prove to be a real asset for Fulham should the West London club decide to move for the player.
