For a fee of £15.3m he became the most expensive Championship player ever. He’s more than ready for the Premier League. So for him to be bought by a lower mid-table Championship club is a shock to many football fans. This guy will improve Wolves squad no end. So the Wolves faithful should be incredibly excited about this man.

David Stockdale (Brighton and Hove Albion to Birmingham City)

David Stockdale is a massive signing for Birmingham and a big improvement of their goalkeeper of last season. Stockdale was the best keeper in the league by a long way last season and won promotion too after finishing runners up with Brighton. His move to Birmingham shock many as everyone expected him to be their number one this season. But Brighton signed Aussie international Matty Ryan which forced Stockdale out the exit door. Birmingham fans will be hoping the 30-year-old, who signed on a free transfer, will be able to guide them all the way to a top six finish.
