Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has completed his third signing of the summer with midfielder Cheikh N’Doye joining the club on a two-year deal according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 31-year-old Senegalese international joins The Blues as a free agent after his contract at unfashionable French club Angers SCO expired at the end of last month.
It has been reported that Birmingham City have beaten off a number of European clubs to sign the commanding midfielder and the addition of N’Doye could prove to be a real success story at St Andrews.
N’Doye started his career in his homeland with Yakaar before joining little known French club SAS Epinal in 2009. The player was a regular performer during his time at the Stade de la Colombiere before joining US Creteil-Lusitanos in summer 2012.
The midfielder continued to develop with his new club with N’Doye making over 100 appearances for The Rams while the player was a Championnat National title winner in 2013.
N’Doye made the step up to the French top flight in summer 2015 when he joined Angers SCO and the player has played his part for a side which has achieved stability in Ligue 1. The midfielder made the decision to leave the Stade Raymond Kopa at the end of his contract and the player will now try to impress in the English game.
