West Ham midfielder has attracted interest from Bolton and QPR

According to GetWestLondon Josh Cullen could be joining QPR on loan. The 21-year-old was on loan with Bradford City last year.

Cullen has made four appearances for The Hammers since signing a professional contract with the club in 2014. He was part of the Bantams side which lost to Millwall in the League One play-off final. Cullen has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 19 and Under 21 level. He captained the Under 21 side in March 2017.

However, a lot of clubs are after the 21-year-old. It is being reported that newly promoted Bolton Wanderers are looking to sign Cullen and Reece Burke from West Ham.

But many people have tipped Cullen to be a useful player for The Hammers for the upcoming campaign. West Ham manager Slaven Bilic may be reluctant to loan out the midfielder.

If Cullen joined The Hoops on loan he would be the clubs fifth signing of the summer. Ian Holloway has already signed Charlie Owen from Tottenham, Giles Phillips from FC Barrington, Josh Scowen from Barnsley and Chay Tilt from West Brom.

Whereas if he joined Phil Parkinson’s side he would be their sixth signing of the summer. The Trotters have signed Will Buckley from Sunderland. Adam Le Fondre from Cardiff, Mark Little from Bristol City, Andrew Taylor from Wigan and Stephen Darby from Bradford.

The upcoming season will be an important one for both sides. QPR will be looking push on from last season where they finished 18th. While Bolton will be looking to build a good enough side to stay up in the Championship following promotion from League One.
