Snodgrass in high demand

Robert Snodgrass is in high demand by Premier League according to Sky Sports. They are reporting that, after Snodgrass said he will not sign a contract extension, as well as wanting to be back in the top-flight, Hull City, Sunderland, West Brom and QPR are all after the signature of the Scottish International. All four teams are expected to agree to Norwich’s terms, it will then be up to the 26 year old to decide where his future lies.

Ameobi to become an Owl?

Sheffield Wednesday boss, Stuart Gray, has confirmed his interest in the Newcastle striker, Sammy Ameobi. Ameobi’s contract doesn’t run out until the end of the 2014/15 season, but after only playing a limited number of times, Newcastle are expecting offers. The Owls are likely to face stiff competition for Ameobi’s services from Middlesbrough; the club where Ameobi had a loan spell with in the 2012/13 season. Boss Gray said, “He [Ameobi] is a quality player and he has shown that by playing in the Premier League.”

Grigg to Bristol?

The Bristol Post is reporting that Brentford striker, Will Grigg, could be leaving the club after just one season with the Bees, to join League One Bristol City. There has been contact between the two clubs and the newspaper understands that Bees boss, Mark Warburton, is willing to do business, if the offer is the right one. However, it is thought that Brentford will want an offer substantial enough to recoup the money they spent on Grigg last summer.
