It is fair to say that Giuseppe Bellusci is not the most popular man at Leeds United.
The Italian defender spent last season on loan in his home country at Serie A side Empoli, who ended up getting relegated.
Many Leeds United supporters had hoped that would be the last they saw of Bellusci, but that was not to be the case.
He has returned to Leeds United this season, and is being given another chance by new Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen.
Whites supporters have not reacted too well to this, and the Italian defender was booed during the club’s game today at non league side Guisely.
Bellusci appeared in the XI that played the first half, and was subsequently taken off at half time, along with the other 10 players.
But after he received what can only be described as a brutal reception from the Leeds United faithful, Giuseppe Bellusci decided to take to Twitter whilst the match was going on to hit back at his critics.
Here is a look at the tweet he posted whilst the second half of the match was being played:
Fortunately in this world we have the children to set an example to the adults!
— Giuseppe Bellusci (@peppe_ele) July 8, 2017
It is fair to say that Leeds United fans were quick to pick up on this tweet, and responded just as swiftly.
