Cyrus Christie has been a very long serving for the Rams having been there since 2014. The Republic of Ireland international has made 119 for Derby and in that time really has split the Derby fans opinions on him. Some fans love him whereas some will be glad to see the back of him. Christie has scored two goals for Derby in those 119 appearances and assisted his teammates on nine occasions.
Before his time at Derby Christie was at, now League Two, Coventry City where he enjoyed four years and, just like at his current club, made 119 appearances. While at Coventry he scored three goals and set up 13 goals. While at Coventry he enjoyed good loan spells out at Nuneaton and Hinkley United before he managed to break into the first team squad.
The news about Cyrus Christie being set to undergo a medical broke earlier today (7th July 2017) and here’s how the wonderful world of Twitter reacted to it.
