Warnock warns Hull off Zohore insisting £20million wouldn’t be enough

Wales Online understands that Cardiff City manager has told Hull City that striker Kenny Zohore is not for sale. The veteran boss even is understood to have said that the Dane wouldn’t be sold even if the Tigers bid up to £20million for the talented 23-year-old.

£20million would represent a club record sale for Cardiff and club record buy for Hull, but Warnock has basically told the Sky Bet Championship rivals to forget about trying to lure Zohore to the KCOM Stadium. Although it is unclear if any formal offer was sanctioned for the player, speculation has been rife that Leonid Slutsky wants the player in East Yorkshire.

There has been claims that a £6million was produced by Hull for Zohore, who netted 12 goals for the Bluebirds last season. Whilst they are believed to be prepared to increase this, Warnock insists it would be a waste of time. He has been busy adding to his squad this summer, with five new names coming into the Cardiff City Stadium, including striker Danny Ward from Rotherham United. Warnock clearly wants Zohore as part of his plans, especially as he took a hold of his place in the side last season. Injuries meant he was forced to play during a time when he was out of favour, and has never looked back.

Cardiff do have a transfer committee at the club which discusses all possible incomings and outgoings. This obviously includes Warnock, whilst CEO Ken Choo, chairman Mehmet Dalman and owner Vincent Tan are all a part of this process too.
