Man City youngster in Ipswich ahead of loan move

Promising Manchester City youngster Bersant Celina is in Ipswich ahead of his proposed loan move to the Championship side according to TWTD.co.uk.

The deal has been on the cards for a while, with it first being reported earlier this month, and today the 20-year-old added fuel to the fire by posting a series of posts on his Instagram account showing he was in the Suffolk town.

The Tractor boys will beat the likes of Bolton, Leeds United and QPR to secure the signing of the highly rated former Norway international, who changed his allegiances to Kosovo in 2014.

Celina had an impressive season on loan at FC Twente last season, scoring 5 goals, which highlighted him as a possible Man City academy success, and he will be hoping to impress on his stay at Portman Road to get himself in the first team frame at his parent club.

The youngster came out earlier this month and said that he wants to show his worth to Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, and doesn’t want to give up on his dream of making it at the Etihad Stadium, even if it means the club have to sell him.

With the competitiveness of the Championship as high as ever going into next season, and most teams making impressive signings, this could prove to be the type of signing Ipswich (who are the longest-serving Championship side)  need to push to the next level and challenge for a top 6 finish.

Celina will travel to Ireland to meet up with the rest of the squad for their pre-season tour tomorrow after completing his medical.
