Matty Fryatt pens a deal with Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have signed striker Matty Fryatt on a free transfer from Hull City on a three year deal. Fryatt will officially join Forest when his Hull City contract runs out on the 1st of July. With the lack of first team football at Hull, Fryatt has elected to join the Championship side, who missed out on a play off spot last season after a poor string of results over the latter stages. Nottingham Forest chaiman, Fawaz Al Hasawi, told the club’s official website, “I am delighted to have finally got our man. I look forward to welcoming him into this great club when his contract starts on July 1.”

Rotherham Broaden their horizon

Rotherham United have completed their fourth signing of the current window after securing the services of former Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot. Broadfoot made a name for himself up in Scotland where he made 154 appearances for St Mirren and 80 appearances for Rangers. He moved to English football in 2012 when he signed for Blackpool, but he can now add Rotherham United to his career list of teams. Millers boss, Steve Evans, said, “There will be some disappointed managers today, we had to work ever so hard to get him here and I am delighted to have got the deal over the line.”
