Highly-rated striker set to swap Norwich for Leicester

The Daily Mail that highly-regarded Norwich City striker Benny Ashley-Seal to set to seal a move to Leicester City. The 2015/16 Premier League champions are confident that the deal will go through over the next few days.

Ashley-Seal, who has yet to make an appearance in the Norwich City first team, is very much seen as one of the stars of the future in the English game. Leicester therefore would resemble this as something of a coup, with the 18-year-old tipped to become a possible England international down the line.

The youngster has been on the books at Carrow Road since making the move from Arsenal a few years ago, when he was aged just 14. As he has progressed up the age groups, his name has frequently been up and around the top scorer charts, leading to many Premier League sides paying bigger and bigger attention.

He has been offered professional terms to remain at Norwich and make the step up to senior football, but it is still highly likely he will be heading to the King Power Stadium. Dmitri Halajko has previously served as a development coach with the Canaries but is now employed by Leicester.

The player was heavily involved in the Norwich side’s which progressed to the semi-finals of the Premier League Cup last season, as well as a promising run in the Premier League International Cup too. Since breaking onto Norwich’s scene at Under-14 level, he has continued to catch the eye. In an Under-16s clash against their counterparts from Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich won 6-1, with Benny-Seal scoring all six.
