It was a tough choice but the Millers take this award for being the most entertaining team in the play-offs whilst also coming out with the right results. Steve Evans has got his men playing exciting, attacking football that simply blew Preston away in the second leg of the semi-finals.

Come the final, the same team showed superb character to come back from 2-0 down on a stage where they’ve failed before and win promotion to the Championship on penalties. It’s been one crazy ride for Rotherham fans over the past decade with success, administration and relegation but now they are back on their feet winning games again and it’s great to see them back in the second tier of English football.
