Goal of the Play-offs

Alex Revell – Rotherham United

We’d already thought we’d seen the goal of the play-offs when Moses Odubajo scored for Leyton Orient but unfortunately for him and his team, it was surpassed in the same game. Alex Revell, five minutes after scoring his first, scored a wonder goal that brought Rotherham level and eventually saw the game go to penalties.

It was an excellent strike, spotting Orient stopper Jamie Jones off his line and thundered a long range striker over the helpless goalkeeper. I don’t think there’s any argument for any other goal in the entire play-offs, it had both quality and importance to the result, take a bow Alex Revell who will taste Championship Football next season.
