Rumour Mill: Ince to Inter whilst Wigan and Derby set to strengthen

Tom Ince to Inter Milan

Blackpool’s Tom Ince is set to follow in his father’s footsteps by signing for Inter Milan, according the Daily Mail. The 22-year-old, who spent a period on loan at Crystal Palace last season, is in Italy for talks but has told Sky Italia that he has not yet signed for the club. The winger is out of contract at Blackpool which means he will be available for a knockdown price, expected to be around £150,000. It is rumoured that Monaco and Everton are also interested in the youngster, but it seems as though Ince’s heart is set on the San Siro and the black and blue of Inter.

Alex Pritchard to Wigan

Wigan are lining up a loan move for Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard as manager Uwe Rosler looks to add to his attacking options, after missing out on promotion to the Premier League last season. The 21-year-old has spent time out of loan at Swindon in the past and has caught the eye of Rosler thanks to some impressive displays whilst at the County Ground. Wigan are also hoping to tie up a deal for left-back Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, according to the Daily Mirror. Taylor-Sinclair’s contract of Partick Thistle runs out this summer.

Derby to keep loan stars

Derby County boss Steve McClaren is hoping to retain the services of loan stars George Thorne, Andre Wisdom and Patrick Bamford, according to Sky Sports. The trio impressed during their time at the iPro Stadium and talks are being planned with their respective clubs to explore the possibility of them returning on loan. Steve McClaren appears to be hopeful of completing these deals saying: “The next stage is keeping the players we have under contract together. I’d like to sort out the likes of Wisdom and Thorne and Bamford. Maybe we have a chance of getting them back because I think they’ve enjoyed their time here.”
