With Sky Bet, Alan Pardew is now the 7/4 clear favourite to be appointed the next head coach of Leeds United. The Elland Road club have been looking for a permanent successor to Garry Monk, who resigned after failing to agree upon an extension to his existing deal.

Therefore, we are looking to Twitter to see what the daily view of the Leeds faithful is regarding this possibility. The club are said to be interviewing candidates this week for the vacancy, and Pardew would appear to be one of the men likely to be seen by Andrea Radrizzani and co.

Claudio Ranieri, who won the Premier League with Leicester City a year ago, has remained high in the betting for over a week now. He has been relegated to second favourite, with Reading boss Jaap Stam further decreasing his price in the market. Pep Clotet continues to drift, leading many to wonder if indeed he will follow Garry Monk to his next club, most likely Middlesbrough. Aitor Karanka was the clear, clear favourite at one stage, but is now at a whooping 16/1, with the club not believed to be considering the Spaniard for the job.

Pardew has managed Newcastle United, Southampton, Charlton Athletic, West Ham United and Reading, prior to being sacked by Crystal Palace in December last year by Steve Parish. With the chances of him heading to Elland Road being a real possibility. What do Leeds fans make of this?

Mixed opinions to say the least!
