Leeds United manager news update from Radrizzani – fans respond

Since Garry Monk walked out on Leeds United nigh on a fortnight ago, the Whites have been managerless, some say directionless.

Many managerial candidates have/continue to be linked to the Whites and the vacant position at Elland Road, favourites coming and going with regularity. One day it is Aitor Karanka, the next it’s Pep Clotet.

There’s a whole supporting cast of other candidates such as Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri, former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Denmark legend Michael Laudrup and even ‘surprise packages’ such as Juande Ramos.

Above all this though is one thing – Leeds United are no closer to a manager than they were when Monk decided to tender his resignation from the club. It is this lack of supposed urgency that has caused a sense of growing concern amongst United supporters, concern that has been growing with every waking day.

However, the following tweet from Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has certainly stirred a response from Leeds fans on Twitter.

Radrizzani tweets about ‘manager’ situation at Elland Road – fans respond

All Leeds United fans had been wanting was news about what was going on, not really who might be coming in. In a sense the latter was immaterial for Whites fans, most of whom just wanted to be kept informed. The replies from these fans to Radrizzani’s tweet are largely positive, the owner’s tweet being well received.

The tweeted replies continue in pretty much a similar vein, Leeds United fans pretty much either thanking Andrea Radrizzani for his openness and honesty, or asking him to appoint manager X or manager Y for reason Z.

Which way should it go? Who would be your choice for next in at Elland Road?
