Leeds United are undergoing a major redevelopment at the football club, as new owner Andrea Radrizzani brings in a number of backroom staff.
He completed his 100% takeover of the club a matter of weeks ago, and has already recruited Spaniard Victor Orta as the new director of football at the club.
And it appears that Orta is helping Radrizzani bring in the members of staff, with Dani Salas set to join Leeds in the coming days.
Salas was part of the transfer network at Sevilla during Orta’s time at the Spanish club, and is said to have focussed on scouting Portugal and the South American region.
Leeds United fans took to Twitter after the potential move was confirmed by a Spanish League correspondent.
Here is what a selection of them had to say on the upcoming appointment:
An insightful analysis from this Leeds United fan, who is clearly now an expert on Dani Salas.
I've been following Dani Salas's career for around 30 seconds now and can confidently say he is somebody or other #lufc

The appointment of Salas is “realy significant,” according to this journalist.

This Leeds United supporter is excited for the future. The club are taking little steps that will turn into great strides, or at least he hopes.

I sense that he is joking…but I am not 100% sure.
This Dani Salas from Sevilla, which wing does he play on?!?!?! #lufc

Perhaps not the biggest fan of the imminent appointment…
Sevilla scouted Antonsson as we did. Internal stuff stopped the transfer and #lufc got him instead. And now we have a Sevilla scout

Leeds United supporters have already began to speculate about what Salas will be able to bring to the football club.
Does this mean we'll be picking up young Portuguese and S American kids, sticking them in the window and selling them on at a profit then?

Some supporters are not particularly fussed about the appointment of Dani Salas, and instead are desperate to see something done with regards to the vacant manager position.
Everyday without a new manager is a day wasted in planning for next season. Its Vital we get off to a good start. Next week is a must #lufc
