Leeds United today confirmed on their website that first team manager Garry Monk had resigned from the football club.
It stated that Andrea Radrizzani was disappointed with Monk’s decision, but that the Italian owner has “reluctantly accepted” his resignation.
It had been believe that talks were underway between the two parties to negotiate a deal, however now agreement could be reached, and the search for a new manager begins at Elland Road.
