It was not the best news for Leeds United fans to wake up to on a Monday morning, but Sky Bet confirmed that Garry Monk was odds on to become the next manager of recently relegated Middlesbrough.

And this evening, the same bookmakers confirmed that they were not offering any odds on Garry Monk remaining at Leeds United.

Monk has since said that he is still interested in talks to remain at Leeds United, and confirmed that when the takeover of the club is complete, talks may possibly begin.
