It should have been a moment of celebration for Steve Morison after his goal fired Millwall back to the Sky Bet Championship.
But his big moment was ruined for him when a minority of the Millwall fans ran onto the pitch at the final whistle to celebrate their team’s victory.
Steve Morison’s late strike was the only goal of the game, and was enough to earn the Lions a 1-0 victory, over a Bradford City side who had narrowly shaded the game.
The match winner was interviewed by Sky Sports after the game, but was unable to express any happiness at the fact that they had just achieved promotion.

“It’s really annoyed me,” he said.
“I can’t concentrate. They’ve ruined it for me, really ruined it.”
He was also seen angrily interacting with a fan who was attempting to celebrate with the Wembley hero.
Him, alongside Millwall manager Neil Harris were urging the fans to get off the pitch at the end of the game, but it did not appear to work.
Fans on Twitter had mixed emotions about Steve Morison’s words for his own fans:
“Get a grip,” says this football fan, who clearly does not think that Steve Morison had a right to say what he did about Millwall’s supporters.

This one supporter feels all that Steve Morison needs is a hug!
Someone give Steve Morison a hug & tell him he's just scored the winner in a Wembley play-off final. Cheer up man! #Millwall #PlayOffFinal
