Sheffield Wednesday forward Fernando Forestieri has been voted by you as the 10th best player in the EFL.
Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Forestieri is the 10th best player in the Football League.
It has been a very mixed season for Forestieri after having an amazing first year with the owls. After looking like it was going to be another year of fantastic form after scoring in the opening day fixture against Aston Villa, he ended up refusing to play in the next match against Norwich City as he looked to force a move. He would end up staying at the club and signing a new deal, though a lot of the damage had been done.
But it is complete credit to Forestieri and the performances he put in that he managed to win the fans over again. Even though they felt betrayed at the start of the season due to his actions, the former Watford man managed to play so well that he ended up winning back the fans who were so angry at the start of the year for coming close to leaving.
Forestieri ended up having a terrible end of the year after missing the penalty which saw them lose their play-off tie with Huddersfield Town but even with that, he will be looking forward to making sure Wednesday finally get promoted next season.
