Premier League club Everton are hoping to sign former Bristol City loanee Tammy Abraham according to the Bristol Post.

The 19-year-old Camberwell born hotshot bagged 26 goals in 48 appearances for Bristol City during a season-long loan spell at Ashton Gate from Premier League champions Chelsea and the player is now set for a second loan move from Stamford Bridge next season with a number of Premier League clubs set to battle for the striker’s signature.

It has been reported that Everton are in pole position to land the England Under-21 international on a season-long loan deal with The Toffees potentially looking to replace top scorer Romelu Lukaku with the player having rejected the offer of a new contract at Goodison Park in favour of a move away from the Merseyside club this summer.

Arsenal are also considering a move for the player while the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are all interested in the striker.

Abraham is a product of the Chelsea academy system and the youngster went on to play a starring role for The Blues academy as the club went on to lift the FA Youth Cup. The striker was rewarded for his good performances at youth team level with two first team appearances for Chelsea at the end of last season prior to his successful stint with Bristol City.
