What are the odds on your team winning the Sky Bet Championship in 2017/18

Sky Bet have released their odds for the winner of the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season.

Of course, these odds do not include either Reading or Huddersfield Town, who will compete at Wembley in the Play-Off final, with a place in the Premier League at stake.

Recently promoted Sheffield United and Bolton are both on the list, but neither Bradford or Millwall feature.

Here’s a quick look at who the bookmakers fancy for the Sky Bet Championship title next season:

The longest odds to win the title are Burton Albion and Barnsley. Both clubs enjoyed a successful first season in the Championship, but are both at 80/1 to lift the title next season.

Three teams are tied at 50/1 for the title. These three teams are Ipswich Town, Preston North End, and recently promoted Bolton Wanderers. Ipswich struggled for the majority of last season, while Preston had a successful season, finishing 10th. Bolton came second in Sky Bet League One, meaning they made an immediate return to the second tier.

Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest are all out at 33/1 to become champions next season. Both Cardiff and QPR enjoyed mid table mediocrity this season, whereas Forest survived on the final day of the season. They’ve recently been taken over by a Greek businessman, but the bookies still do not fancy them to challenge for the title.

Next up are another team who were in a relegation battle for much of the season, Bristol City. Lee Johnson’s side only secured safety with a few games to go in the Sky Bet Championship, but with odds of 28/1 to lift the title, the bookmakers are expected a much better season next time round.

Brentford are at 25/1 to become Championship winners next season. The London club had a very respectable mid table finish this campaign, and will be looking to push on and challenge the top six.
