Derby County are Sunderland are tracking Bristol City’s Joe Bryan ahead of a potential move according to a report from The Mirror.
While many people have been concentrating on how good Tammy Abraham was for the Robins this season, there are currently plenty of talented players currently in their squad and one of those players is Bryan. The 23-year-old wing back has always been highly rated and has had eyes on him in the past but has only increased his value over the last year with an impressive season.
And now that means other teams in the Sky Bet Championship are looking into the possibility of signing Bryan. Derby, coming off the back of a poor season where they ended up in mid-table after hoping to challenge for promotion, are looking to improve their defence with this signing while Sunderland are looking to add more Championship experience to their squad after suffering relegation from the Premier League.
And with both of these teams set to get a good budget next season as they look to get promoted to the top tier of English football, it seems likely they will be able to pay for Bryan. It is expected that Bristol City will slap a £2.5m valuation on one of their star man and for teams expecting to challenge at the top end of the Championship, that has started to become a nothing fee. Bryan may be reluctant to leave Ashton Gate though having played for the club for his entire life though either side would be seen as a step up.
