Leeds United are planning a £4million move for Norwich City midfielder Jonny Howson, according to TeamTalk.

The 29-year-old has been a regular feature in the Norwich side this season, making 39 appearances in all competitions.

The midfielder has enjoyed a busy season, scoring six goals and contributing a further eight assists.

According to TeamTalk, Howson is on Leeds United’s radar as Norwich look to make financial cuts to the playing squad this summer.

The Canaries have already made a number of changes this summer, releasing John Ruddy, Sebastien Bassong, Steven Whittaker, Ryan Bennett, Youssouf Mulumbu, Michael Turner & Kyle Lafferty.

Leeds United have already made moves in the off-season, signing Pablo Hernandez to a further year deal at the club having joined permanently in January.

The 32-year-old met an appearance clause in his current deal that has seen his contract extended for the 2017/18 season.

The former Swansea man has established himself as a regular under Garry Monk this season, featuring in 38 games in all competitions, scoring six goals and assisting a further eight.

Now, Leeds could be prepared to add to their squad with the addition of Howson following Radrizzani’s complete takeover of the club.
