Sheffield Wednesday put in a battling performance as they drew 0-0 with Huddersfield Town in their Sky Bet Championship Play Off Semi-Final First Leg match at The John Smith’s Stadium.
There was nothing to separate the two sides in West Yorkshire with the home chance spurning a number of half chances which came their way while Wednesday offered little in attack.
With Carlos Carvalhal’s side now having home advantage in the Second Leg and unbeaten against The Terriers in their last eight matches, the stage is set for Wednesday to return to Wembley in the Play Off Final.
After watching their side stop Huddersfield Town’s attacking threat, The Owls fans took to Twitter to give their views on the match.
Not a bad result from Sheffield Wednesdays perspective Hillsborough will be absolutely bouncing on Wednesday night #Swfc

Give me a boring 0-0 any day. Great professional performance away. We'll do them at Hillsborough #swfc

Compare our playoff away leg last season to today's game, we were a lot more comfortable today. Let's hope we do the business on weds #swfc

I'm happy with the result, Huddersfield bossed the game but didn't create anything, I fancy us under lights at a packed Hillsborough #swfc

Most important half of the plan done today, clean sheet. Can't really be worse in possession on Wed so happy with that. #swfc

Not the kind of game that gets your blood pumping but maybe the kind that ultimately gets you promoted #swfc

Wednesday were just 90 minutes away from the Premier League last season but The Owls lost 1-0 to Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship Play Off Final at Wembley.
