Millwall striker Steve Morison has been voted by you as the 38th best player in the EFL.

Over the last month, we have been gathering votes from you to find the best managers and players in the EFL. And after counting the votes, we have discovered you think that Morison is the 38th best player in the Football League.
It was always going to be a tough season for Millwall, having lost in the Sky Bet League One Play-Off final last campaign, but they’ve bounced back and reached the final for the second successive year. Veteran striker Steve Morison has played a key role in ensuring a successful season for the League One side. He joined Millwall in 2015, moving from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee. He’s enjoyed two fantastic seasons since moving clubs. The 33 year old has formed a formidable partnership with Lee Gregory upfront, which has propelled Millwall into the top six. He has featured 38 times in the league for his team this season, scoring 11 goals, and setting up eight for his team mates. Morison also scored two goals in the second leg of the Play-Off Semi Finals against Scunthorpe. These two goals proved to be the crucial ones, and helped his side progress to the final.
Steve Morison is reaching the end of his career, but he will definitely feel he’s still capable of playing in the Sky Bet Championship. He has his chance to take Millwall there, when they travel to Wembley to face Bradford City for the right to play Championship football next season.
