Promotion favourites Fulham really must record a home victory over Reading in their Sky Bet Championship Play Off First Leg match this evening if they are to have a good chance of reaching the Final.

The Cottagers have won five of their last six league matches and have drawn the other as they have finished the regular campaign with a bang.

The West London club have been paired with a Reading side who are pleasing on the eye in the Play Off Semi-Finals with the First Leg taking place at Craven Cottage this evening.

Fulham must aim to put down solid foundations on home soil this evening with Reading boasting a superb recent home record. The Royals are unbeaten in their last 10 home fixtures in the Sky Bet Championship and should Fulham not take advantage in the First Leg, a huge test of character awaits Slavisa Jokanovic’s men at The Madejski Stadium in the return match on Tuesday evening.

During Reading’s excellent home run, the club have defeated good sides such as Leeds United and Brentford while The Royals also beat Play Off opponents Fulham 1-0 back in January.

Play Off matches are not usually won in the First Leg however it is crucial that Fulham get a win on the board to take the pressure away from themselves ahead of what promises to be an intense Second Leg in Berkshire.
