Ryan Sessegnon is “the future of English football”

Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon has been described by one of his teammates as “the future of English football.”

The Mirror has reported that Neeskens Kebano thinks Sessegnon is the most talented 16 year old that he has ever seen.

Ryan Sessegnon has attracted attention for a number of different clubs, including Premier League giants Liverpool.

He is expected to become a Premier League player next year, regardless of whether or not Fulham earn promotion.

Sessegnon turns 17 next week, and Kebano was full of praise for the young Englishman.

Talking about the youngster, Kebano said: “Sometimes, you forget how young he is. We speak in French, and often when I ask him for his opinion about certain things, I suddenly realise he is too young to answer the question. And when we stay in a hotel the night before a game, he’s not allowed to be alone in a room because he’s under 18 years old.”

“Is he the best young player I’ve ever seen? Put it this way, I have worked with many, many young players, but he is the most talented for his age.”

He also compared Sessegnon to Adrian Rabiot, who he played with during his time at PSG, but he said that the future appears to be brighter for the 16 year old Fulham star.

Kebano was talking ahead of Fulham’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi final against Reading.

The winners of the two legged Semi Final will travel to Wembley to face either Huddersfield Town or Sheffield Wednesday for a place in the Premier League.
