Fulham have option to sign on loan Chelsea winger

Sky Bet Championship club Fulham have the first option to sign on loan Chelsea winger Lucas Piazon this summer according to the Daily Star.

The 23-year-old Sao Paulo born wideman is set to be sold by his parent club in the close season with the player unlikely to break into the first team picture at Stamford Bridge.

A number of admirers are expected to chase the signing of the winger after an impressive season in the Sky Bet Championship with Fulham but it is understood that The Cottagers will have the first option to sign the player. It is believed that Piazon is keen on a move to Craven Cottage and should Fulham table a transfer offer which meets Chelsea’s valuation of the winger, the Brazilian is likely to opt for a permanent move down Fulham Road.

Piazon joined the Chelsea academy early in 2011 but the player has made just three senior appearances for The Blues. With the winger out of favour at Stamford Bridge, the player has been loaned out to a number of clubs in recent years including Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt and Reading prior to his move to current club Fulham.

The youngster has made 32 appearances for The Whites so far this season, scoring six goals. Piazon could yet find himself playing in the Premier League should Fulham win the Sky Bet Championship Play Offs.
