Nottingham Forest will be a Sky Bet Championship club again next season after securing survival with a 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town at The City Ground.
Forest struggled to make an impact in the first half despite starting the match well until they were awarded a 43rd minute penalty kick which Britt Assombalonga successfully dispatched. The Reds were much more composed in the second period and Chris Cohen added a second from distance before Assombalonga notched his superb second to give Forest a 3-0 victory.
After watching their side hold their nerve to secure their Sky Bet Championship status, Reds fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result.
Well that 90 minutes wasn't that bad after all! In fact I quite enjoyed it. #NFFC

And Fawaz, sell up, clear off and don't show your face in these parts again. This era has been nothing short of a disgrace #nffc #FAWAZOUT

Forest fans will now hope that the pending takeover of the club can now be completed and a new era can begin on the banks of the Trent.
