Peterborough United announced on Wednesday afternoon, that National League player of the year, Ricky Miller, joined from Dover Athletic on a three-year deal. Posh fans have taken to Twitter to react to the signing.

Non-league sensation and top scorer will join the ABAX Stadium outfit in June, once his contract at Dover Athletic expires. Miller has scored an impressive 42 goals this season, and the Cambridgeshire side is hoping that he will be able to emulate similar prolific form in the English Football League.

It is understood that Ricky Miller is a local boy from the area, which helped him make the decision to join Peterborough, but originally came through the Charlton Athletic youth system. The club successfully signed the 28-year old despite rumoured interest from several other Football League sides including former club Charlton Athletic, Millwall, Northampton and Portsmouth.

Peterborough United fans have taken to social media and Twitter to react to the news of Miller joining the Cambridgeshire side.
