Glasgow Rangers’ fans support defender moving to Charlton Athletic

Glasgow Rangers’ fans have taken to Twitter and are largely in support of their full-back, Lee Hodson, leaving to join Charlton Athletic, who has been linked with Karl Robinson’s outfit in the last few days.

Charlton Athletic have been linked with Glasgow Rangers’ Lee Hodson. The full-back was originally signed by Mark Warburton last summer but has continuously struggled to secure a first-team place for the Scottish Premier League giants.

Hodson has made just nine league appearances for the Rangers, including only one under the recently appointed manager, Pedro Caixinha. As a result, many could conclude Hodson’s move to the Scottish outfit, and his experience this season as somewhat of a disappointment, and as a result, he could be tempted to make a move back to England.

Last season, Hodson had a one-year loan spell at Kilmarnock, which means he would have played with Josh Magennis, who made a move to Charlton Athletic last summer and could link up with the Northern Ireland international once again if he was to make a move to The Valley.

Before playing Scottish football over the last two seasons, Hodson has had stints at Brentford, Watford and joined Karl Robinson back in 2013 at Milton Keynes’ Dons which could have a positive impact for Charlton if they were to approach the defender in the transfer window.

Since the announcement of a possible approach by the Addicks to secure the services of Lee Hodson in the upcoming window, Glasgow Rangers’ fans, have taken to Twitter to react to the possible move.

The following poll which was conducted by a Rangers’ fan Twitter page received over 2,000 votes, and conclude with 63% of participants voting in favour of Lee Hodson being sold in the summer.
