Norwich fans react to former England international leaving

Clubs up and down the country are beginning to announce the players who will be leaving the club at the end of the season, and this morning is was the turn of Norwich City.

The Canaries confirmed that amongst the seven first team players leaving, was former England international John Ruddy.

Ruddy has been a big part of the squad at Carrow Road for several years now, and the news has been taken in different ways by the fans.

We took a look on Twitter to see what was being said about Ruddy’s departure:

This fan described Ruddy as a servant to the club, and certainly did not agree with the decision to let him leave.

This fan encouraged fellow supporters to give Ruddy a big send off this coming Sunday, when QPR travel to Carrow Road.

This fan is a big supporter of Ruddy, but feels that the time is right for him to say goodbye to the club.

This supporter is happy that the wage bill at Norwich will be nowhere near as high thanks to the players they are releasing.

Norwich must have another top class goalkeeper in mind according to this fan.

This fan is devastated, and is certainly not happy with the goalkeepers left at the club.

It appears that the majority of Norwich City fans are extremely shocked by the decision to release John Ruddy.

Norwich City fans will be hoping that this fan is wrong, and there will be no regrets come the end of the season.
