Charlton Athletic eye four signings, including two Bradford players

Charlton Athletic are reportedly already eyeing four signing this summer, according to Sunday’s print edition of The Sun.

Charlton finished 13th in League One this season, finishing their campaign with a solid 3-0 win over relegated Swindon Town.  Boss Karl Robinson is already getting ready for the transfer window, looking to bring in Bradford players Mark Marshall and Billy Clarke.  Robinson is also keen on MK Dons midfielder Ben Reeves and Rangers defender Lee Hodson.

This is not the first time that Charlton have been linked with Bradford City winger Marshall, who has made 47 appearances for the club this season.  Bradford have secured a League One play-off place, and promotion may tempt them to let Marshall go at the end of the season.

Clarke, 29, has been a Bradford player since 2015.  He has scored seven goals in 37 appearances for the club this season and could also be surplus to requirements should Bradford be promoted and improve their squad this summer.

Midfielder Ben Reeves played under Karl Robinson at MK Dons and the Charlton manager is looking for a reunion this summer.  Despite MK Dons only finishing in mid-table this season, Reeves has had a great season.  The midfielder has made 42 appearances, scoring ten goals.

Rangers full-back Lee Hodson, 25, has made 16 first-team appearances for the club this season.  He is another player who played under Robinson at MK Dons, making 51 appearances during his time with the club.

Robinson seems to have laid out his plans for next season early, which could help Charlton to get one over their rivals.  The club will be looking to get promoted back to the Championship next year.
