Brighton and Hove Albion to make ambitious move for Chelsea striker

Brighton and Hove Albion are set to make an ambitious move to try and sign Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham on loan according to a report from The Sun.

The 19-year-old striker has been one of the revelations of the season after having a great loan spell with Bristol City this season. He has scored 26 goals for the Robins and is one of the main reasons they have been able to stay afloat in their battle against relegation, though it seems like he is unlikely to return to Ashton Gate due to the amount of teams interested in him.

This is where Brighton are going to step in and try to sign Abraham as they look to get some more firepower as they prepare for their return to the Premier League. They want to sign him on loan for the season and believe that he would continue to develop as a player should he head to the AMEX Stadium for a year.

However Brighton are facing a lot of competition as several teams are trying to sign Abraham, with most of them trying to sign him on a permanent deal. The other clubs want to tempt Chelsea to sell with a bag cash offer which they may be willing to accept if they think the youngster won’t ever break into their first team. However Brighton want to show Chelsea that Abraham can develop into a key player for the West London giants should he continue his development on the south coast with them.
