A second successive defeat for Brighton and Hove Albion and another win for Newcastle United means that the final game of the season will decide whether the Magpies or Seagulls, will lift the Sky Bet Championship trophy for the 2016/17 campaign.
An unfortunate draw for Leeds United means that they are now basically ruled out of having a chance of going to Wembley in the summer, as Fulham who has three points ahead has a +13 goal difference ahead of the Yorkshire side.
A win for Blackburn Rovers against Aston Villa means that their hopes of maintaining Sky Bet Championship status are still on the cards after Nottingham Forest lost to Queens Park Rangers. The final relegation spot will be decided on the final game of the season, next weekend.
