Newcastle United kept up the pressure on league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion by beating Cardiff City at The Cardiff City Stadium on Friday evening.

After a goalless first half, second half strikes from Christian Atsu and Isaac Hayden helped fire The Magpies to victory in front of a huge 4,000 travelling army in South Wales.

The result leaves Newcastle United one point adrift of Brighton & Hove Albion with one match left to play and after watching their side battle to their latest victory, fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result.

Brighton & Hove Albion can lift the league title by beating Bristol City at The Amex Stadium on Saturday evening.
