Liam Trotter – Bolton Wanderers
The Millwall loanee has failed to impress for the most part since joining Bolton in January, but had his best game to date in a Trotters shirt away at Sheffield Wednesday. In a game where neither team had anything to play for it did not lack a competitive edge and included patches of real quality, Trotter’s goal being the stand out. The ball broke to the midfielder and from well over 30 yards he fired over Kris Kirkland to give Bolton a 3-0 lead after just half an hour. If he keeps his head down and focuses on his game there is no reason that he can not establish himself as a big player in the Championship.
