On Saturday afternoon, Bradford City hosted AFC Wimbledon, and secured a 3 – 0 win against the Londoners. This season the Bantams have secured and guaranteed a possible trip to Wembley. Bradford City fans have taken to Twitter to react.
The first goal came in the 29th minute through a penalty which was awarded as the Wombles bundled over Josh Cullen in the box. Tony McMahon took to the spot-kick and slotted it home for the Bantams just before the 30′ minute mark.
The second goal for Bradford City came in additional time of the first-half. Winger, Mark Marshall, who has been recently linked with a move to Charlton Athletic next season, netted the second and ensured that Bradford was returning to their changing room with a two-goal cushion.
After the 15 minute break, the second half commenced, and Bradford City continued to be the dominating side and showed why they were knocking on the door of a possible promotion to the Sky Bet Championship. The Bantams’ dominance finally paid off five minutes before the whistle, when the right-back McMahon scored his second of the game. When the full-time whistle blew, Bradford City had secured all three points.
Bradford’s game against AFC Wimbledon was their last home game of the season, and now have the impressive record of being unbeaten all season in the league at home. The Bantams’ played 23 games at The Valley Parade and always ensured they came out with at least a point.
Bradford City fans have taken to Twitter to react to their impressive home form, and the confirmation of a playoff position and chance to get promoted to the Sky Bet Championship at the end of the season.

Well done to #bcafc on making the play-offs when you consider new owners, no management team and only a handful of players last pre-season.

Anyone questioning McCall's ability as a manager should look at the development of Mark Marshall this season. Superb. #bcafc
