Birmingham City: 5 players Harry Redknapp could sign for the club

Peter Crouch (Stoke City)

Crouch first played under Redknapp back in 2004 when the pair were at Southampton together.  The striker then earned himself a move to Liverpool before linking up with Redknapp once again at Portsmouth and then Tottenham Hotspur.  Crouch is a very well-known name in the footballing world, and is still scoring Premier League goals at the age of 36.

Crouch has been playing for Stoke City since 2011.  After failing to score a league goal for the club last season, the striker has improved his form this season and currently has five Premier League goals.

At 36, Crouch may not have many years of top-flight football left in him.  This could perhaps lead to a move to the Championship in the future.  If Harry Redknapp remains with Birmingham into next season, this would surely be the former England international’s first choice.
